The Western Hills Wolverines basketball team (Frankfort, KY), was toppled 63-49 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY)
The Rebels now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bourbon County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Owen County will confront a Colonels team coming off a 72-54 non-league loss to Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 7-6.
The Wolverines (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers come into the District 41 battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Franklin County beat Scott County (Georgetown, KY), 64-62, in a non-league battle.
