Palm Springs Indians (Palm Springs, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA), 77-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Palm Springs upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Norco (Norco, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Norco won 97-56 in their recent non-league bout against Salesian (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Rattlers play the Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA) in a Desert Empire bout, on Friday, January 5. Rancho Mirage will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 62-36 non-league loss to Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA).
