With the win, Wilson Memorial upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Green Hornets host Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA) to play the Little Giants in a Shenandoah bout on Friday, January 5. The Little Giants go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Waynesboro lost 41-39 in their recent league bout against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a Shenandoah bout, on Friday, January 5. Riverheads will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 81-48 non-league win over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA).
