Roosevelt Sharks (Yonkers, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Riverside Rams (Yonkers, NY), 86-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Sharks travel to Gorton (Yonkers, NY) to play the Wolves in a Section 1 Conference 2A bout on Friday, January 5. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Gorton lost 48-29 in their recent non-league bout against Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY)

Next up, the Rams play the Saunders Trades & Tech Blue Devils (Yonkers, NY) in a Section 1 Conference 2A bout, on Thursday, January 4. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 48-43 non-league loss to Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY).
