With the victory, South Johnston improves its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Fike (Wilson, NC) to confront the Demons in a 3A Quad County challenge on Friday, January 5. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Fike lost 67-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Beddingfield (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) in a 3A Quad County challenge, on Friday, January 5. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 60-50 league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC).
