The West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights to 48 in the Pirates league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hightstown for a Colonial Valley contest on Friday, January 5. West Windsor-Plainsboro South will battle a Rams team coming off a 68-64 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 5-4.

The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Irish enter the Colonial Valley contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame was defeated by Princeton Day (Princeton, NJ), 50-46, in a league contest.
