California High School Basketball - Yucaipa thwarted by Beaumont

The Yucaipa Thunderbirds basketball team (Yucaipa, CA), was toppled 56-46 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Beaumont Cougars (Beaumont, CA)

The Cougars now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Citrus Valley for a battle on Friday, January 5. Beaumont will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 49-47 non-league loss to Orange Vista (Perris, CA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-3.

The Thunderbirds (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA). The Wildcats come into the battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Redlands East Valley was toppled by Cajon (San Bernardino, CA), 71-44, in a league battle.
