The Alta Hawks basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting East Leopards to 40 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hawks now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Skyline for a 5A Region 6 contest on Friday, January 5. Alta will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-37 league loss to Brighton (Salt Lake City, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 2-9.
