Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bell Griffins (Washington, DC), 47-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Anacostia upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Indians host Eastern (Washington, DC) to clash with the Ramblers in a DCSAA bout on Friday, January 5. The Ramblers go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Eastern won 49-34 in their recent league bout against School Without Walls (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Griffins clash with the KIPP College Prep Panthers (Washington, DC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Bell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
