The Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Polo Marcos to 27 in the Raiders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Raiders now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milledgeville for a Northwest Upstate Illini - South contest on Friday, January 5. Ashton-Franklin Center will battle a Missiles team coming off a 77-23 league loss to Eastland (Lanark, IL). The Missiles record now stands at 1-12.

The Marcos (7-9) will now prepare for their bout against Forreston (Forreston, IL). The Cardinals go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - South bout with a 3-13 record. In their last bout, Forreston topped Fulton (Fulton, IL), 49-36, in a league bout.
