The Manton Rangers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Beal City Aggies to 36 in the Rangers league victory on Wednesday.
The Rangers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine River Area for a Highland contest on Friday, January 5. Manton will battle a Bucks team coming off a 62-38 league loss to Evart (Evart, MI). The Bucks record now stands at 3-3.
The Aggies (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake City (Lake City, MI). The Trojans come into the Highland contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Lake City prevailed over Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI), 49-37, in a non-league contest.
