The Bellevue Christian Vikings basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Vashon Island Pirates to 33 in the Vikings league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chimacum for a 1A Nisqually contest on Friday, January 5. Bellevue Christian will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 57-33 league win over Charles Wright (Tacoma, WA). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-0.

The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Klahowya (Silverdale, WA). The Eagles enter the 1A Nisqually contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Klahowya was routed by Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA), 63-24, in a league contest.
