With the victory, Marmaduke improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR) to play the Warriors in a 2A Region 3 challenge on Monday, January 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. East Poinsett County won 47-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Mitchell (Memphis, TN)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Buffalo Island Central will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 45-34 non-league win over Westside (Jonesboro, AR).
