The Spotswood Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Calvary Christian Lions to 17 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Chargers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Park for a Greater Middlesex - Blue contest on Friday, January 5. Spotswood will battle a Owls team coming off a 54-29 league loss to Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ). The Owls record now stands at 3-4.
The Lions (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ). The enter the Greater Middlesex - Gold contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Timothy Christian triumphed over South Amboy (South Amboy, NJ), 50-31, in a non-league contest.
