With the victory, Central improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Heritage (Ringgold, GA) to play the Generals in a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Heritage lost 59-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Creekside Seminoles (Fairburn, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Villa Rica will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 66-64 league win over Midtown (Atlanta, GA).
