Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Steel Valley ripped by Clairton

The Clairton Bears basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Steel Valley Ironmen to 12 in the Bears league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bears now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springdale for a WPIAL 2A 3 contest on Thursday, January 4. Clairton will battle a Dynamos team coming off a 33-24 non-league win over Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA). The Dynamos record now stands at 2-6.
The Ironmen (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Winchester Thurston (Pittsburgh, PA). The enter the WPIAL 2A 3 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Winchester Thurston triumphed over Ellis (Pittsburgh, PA), 51-26, in a league contest.
