Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Conotton Valley Rockets (Bowerston, OH) and the host Edison Wildcats (Richmond, OH), saw Conotton Valley's basketball squad hold off Edison by a tally of 47-44.
With the victory, Conotton Valley improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH) to confront the Pirates in a Inter-Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Garaway won 42-33 in their recent league challenge against Claymont (Uhrichsville, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Harrison Central Huskies (Cadiz, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Edison will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record.
