The Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) basketball felled the visiting Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME), 77-57 in Wednesday's league test.
The Rams (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Nokomis (Newport, ME). The Warriors go into the A North test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Nokomis was beaten by Gardiner (Gardiner, ME), 58-47, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Brewer for a A North test on Saturday, January 6. Messalonskee will encounter a Witches squad coming off a 72-58 league loss to Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Witches record now stands at 2-5.
