Halifax Academy Knights (Daytona Beach, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Crescent City Raiders (Crescent City, FL), 39-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Halifax Academy upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Atlantic (Port Orange, FL) to play the Sharks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Atlantic lost 53-39 in their recent non-league bout against Umatilla (Umatilla, FL)

Next up, the Raiders play the Taylor Wildcats (Pierson, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Crescent City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 46-23 non-league win over Crooms Academy (Sanford, FL).
