In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA), by a margin of 30-23.
The Foxes (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against Hampton (Allison Park, PA). The Talbots go into the WPIAL 5A 2 outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Hampton got by Southwest EC (El Centro, CA), 69-14, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Peters Township for a non-league outing on Friday, January 5. Plum will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 53-46 league win over Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA). The Indians record now stands at 10-0.
