The Myrtle Beach Seahawks basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs to 10 in the Seahawks non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Seahawks now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Florence for a AAAA Region 6 contest on Friday, January 5. Myrtle Beach will battle a Knights team coming off a 45-42 non-league win over Cheraw (Cheraw, SC). The Knights record now stands at 2-8.
The Bulldogs (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Kingstree (Kingstree, SC). The Blazers come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Kingstree was routed by South Florence (Florence, SC), 42-27, in a non-league contest.
