In Wednesday's league outing, the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), by a margin of 51-25.

The Cougars (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Panthers go into the Shoreline outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Cromwell was trounced by East Hampton (East Hampton, CT), 68-34, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Coginchaug Regional for a Shoreline outing on Friday, January 5. Old Lyme will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 57-39 league win over Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-3.
