The Lamar Silver Foxes basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Hemingway Tigers to 14 in the Silver Foxes non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Silver Foxes now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Clarendon for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Lamar will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 51-32 non-league loss to Lee Central (Bishopville, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-3.
The Tigers (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Green Sea Floyds (Green Sea, SC). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Green Sea Floyds was routed by Aynor (Aynor, SC), 34-30, in a non-league contest.
