Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Holy Cross can't hold off Old Forge

The Holy Cross Crusaders basketball team (Dunmore, PA), was nudged 41-40 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA)
The Blue Devils now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elk Lake for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. Old Forge will battle a Warriors team coming off a 52-36 league loss to Mountain View (Kingsley, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
The Crusaders (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Vikings come into the Lackawanna 3 battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Riverside edged Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA), 53-27, in a league battle.
