Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) and the visiting Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), saw Marion Center's basketball squad overcome Homer-Center by a tally of 50-34.

With the victory, Marion Center improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Stingers travel to River Valley (Blairsville, PA) to confront the Panthers in a Heritage challenge on Friday, January 5. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. River Valley lost 67-44 in their recent league challenge against Penns Manor (Clymer, PA)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Friday, January 5. Homer-Center will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Red Dragons come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 55-40 league loss to West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA).
