The John Bapst Memorial Crusaders basketball team (Bangor, ME), was nudged 35-33 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME)
The Shiretowners now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellsworth for a B North battle on Saturday, January 6. Houlton will confront a Eagles team coming off a 53-48 league win over Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 7-0.
The Crusaders (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hermon (Hermon, ME). The Hawks come into the B North battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Hermon edged Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 48-25, in a league battle.
