Kentucky High School Basketball - June Buchanan tops Jackson City

June Buchanan Crusaders (Pippa Passes, KY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY), 41-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, June Buchanan upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Jenkins (Jenkins, KY) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Tigers play the Breathitt County Bobcats (Jackson, KY) in a District 55 bout, on Friday, January 5. Jackson City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 51-42 non-league win over Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY).
