In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Kearsarge Cougars basketball team scored a tight 48-42 triumph over the Monadnock Huskies.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH) in a Division III match, on Friday, January 5. Kearsarge will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 51-15 league win over Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH).
