The Villa Walsh Academy Vikings basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Kinnelon Colts to 22 in the Vikings league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Lakes for a Freelance contest on Friday, January 5. Villa Walsh Academy will battle a Lakers team coming off a 39-32 non-league win over Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Lakers record now stands at 5-2.
The Colts (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of St. Elizabeth (Convent Station, NJ). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Academy of St. Elizabeth was routed by Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ), 59-41, in a non-league contest.
