The PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV), 66-36 in Wednesday's league test.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV). The Colts go into the non-league test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, Philip Barbour smashed Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV), 88-30, in a league outing.
The Patriots now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Independence for a Coalfield AA outing on Friday, January 5. Midland Trail will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 52-50 league win over Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 7-1.
