Morristown Colonials (Morristown, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ), 43-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morristown upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Colonials travel to Chatham (Chatham, NJ) to play the Cougars in a Northwest Jersey - American bout on Friday, January 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Chatham won 70-26 in their recent non-league bout against Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ)

Next up, the Spartans play the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles (Rockaway, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - National bout, on Saturday, January 6. Sparta will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
