In Wednesday's league outing, the Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME), by a count of 48-19.
The Trojans (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Coyotes go into the B North outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Old Town was crushed by Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME), 53-48, in a league outing.
The Raiders now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Presque Isle for a B North outing on Saturday, January 6. Washington Academy will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-47 league loss to Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.
