The Mountain Lakes Lakers basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Parsippany Redhawks to 32 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lakers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Villa Walsh Academy for a Freelance contest on Friday, January 5. Mountain Lakes will battle a Vikings team coming off a 60-22 league win over Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 7-1.

The Redhawks (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Whippany Park was nudged by Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ), 52-42, in a non-league contest.
