South River Rams (South River, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Brunswick Zebra (New Brunswick, NJ), 59-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South River upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Carteret (Carteret, NJ) to clash with the Ramblers in a Greater Middlesex - Blue bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Ramblers go into the bout with a record of 6-1.

Next up, the Zebra clash with the Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. New Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
