The Novato Hornets basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs to 19 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hornets now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terra Linda for a Marin County contest on Friday, January 5. Novato will battle a Trojans team coming off a 47-23 non-league loss to San Marin (Novato, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-13.

The Mustangs (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor (Windsor, CA). The Jaguars enter the North Bay - Redwood contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Windsor was defeated by Trinity (Weaverville, CA), 49-39, in a non-league contest.
