White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shoals Jug Rox (Shoals, IN), 51-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, White River Valley upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Orleans (Orleans, IN) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 14-1.

Next up, the Jug Rox play the Washington Catholic Cardinals (Washington, IN) in a Blue Chip bout, on Saturday, January 6. Shoals will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 0-12 record after their 92-10 league loss to South Knox (Vincennes, IN).
