Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), 47-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Brunswick upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Dragons host Marshwood (South Berwick, ME) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Eagles play the Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Mt. Ararat will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
