The William Byrd Terriers basketball team (Vinton, VA), dropped 40-20 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA)
The Colonels now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northside for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Fleming will battle a Vikings team coming off a 40-36 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-7.
The Terriers (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Lord Botetourt dropped by Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 42-39, in a non-league battle.
