In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Sultana Sultans soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Burroughs Burros.
The Sultans (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Mojave River battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Oak Hills was nudged by Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Burros (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Hesperia (Hesperia, CA). The Scorpions go into the Mojave River battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Hesperia was nudged by Serrano (Phelan, CA), 5-1, in a league battle.
