Cane Bay Cobras (Summerville, SC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Timberland Wolves (St. Stephen, SC), 53-8 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cane Bay upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-7. Wando lost 45-43 in their recent non-league bout against West Ashley (Charleston, SC)

Next up, the Wolves play the Academic Magnet Raptors (North Charleston, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Timberland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Raptors come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 41-35 non-league loss to Hanahan (Hanahan, SC).
