With the win, Gunderson upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Grizzlies host Leland (San Jose, CA) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Dons clash with the San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Del Mar will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 45-38 league loss to Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA).
