Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dover Dragons (Dover Plains, NY), 55-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rondout Valley upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Ganders host Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Our Lady of Lourdes won 74-46 in their recent non-league bout against Wallkill (Wallkill, NY)

Next up, the Dragons play the Millbrook Blazers (Millbrook, NY) in a bout, on Friday, January 5. Dover will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Blazers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 46-17 non-league loss to Mount Academy (Esopus, NY).
