Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Easley Green Wave (Easley, SC), 52-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wren upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC) to play the Fury in a bout on Thursday, January 4. The Fury come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Fountain Inn lost 33-31 in their recent non-league bout against Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC)

Next up, the Green Wave play the Greenwood Eagles (Greenwood, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Easley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
