Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT), 54-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rutland upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Raiders host Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Burr & Burton won 67-40 in their recent non-league bout against Windsor (Windsor, VT)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Pittsfield Generals (Pittsfield, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Mount Anthony will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
