Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Triton Regional Vikings (Byfield, MA), 74-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Newburyport upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Clippers travel to Triton Regional (Byfield, MA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Vikings play the Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Triton Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
