North Carolina High School Basketball - Orange overwhelmed by Western Alamance

The Orange Panthers basketball team (Hillsborough, NC), was overwhelmed 61-33 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC)

The Warriors now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Alamance for a battle on Friday, January 5. Western Alamance will confront a Eagles team coming off a 60-42 non-league win over Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.

The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Williams (Burlington, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Williams trounced Southern Alamance (Graham, NC), 56-47, in a non-league battle.
