In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Dike-New Hartford Wolverines basketball team scored a big 64-38 triumph over the AGWSR Cougars.

The Wolverines (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Gladbrook-Reinbeck smashed Hudson (Hudson, IA), 70-35, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the North Tama Redhawks (Traer, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. AGWSR will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Redhawks go into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 63-47 non-league loss to Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA).
