In Friday's league contest, the visiting Southern Door Eagles basketball team scored a good 63-52 win over the Algoma Wolves.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gibraltar (Fish Creek, WI). The Vikings come into the Packerland contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Gibraltar was topped by Peshtigo (Peshtigo, WI), 51-23, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Denmark Vikings (Denmark, WI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Algoma will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 60-57 league win over Luxemburg-Casco (Luxemburg, WI).
