Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Amesbury Redhawks (Amesbury, MA), 68-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Georgetown advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Royals travel to Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA) to face the Hornets in a Cape Ann - Small match on Tuesday, January 7. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 5-2. Manchester Essex won 36-31 in their recent non-league match against East Boston (East Boston, MA)

The Redhawks now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton-Wenham Regional for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7.
