Texas High School Basketball - Kountze overwhelms Anahuac

The Kountze Lions basketball team scored 90 points and limited the visiting Anahuac Panthers to 31 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 21-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kirbyville for a 3A Region III District 22 game on Tuesday, January 7. Kountze will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 73-29 league loss to Warren (Warren, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Anahuac falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Warren (Warren, TX) to confront the Warriors in a 3A Region III District 22 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 4-17. Warren won 73-29 in their recent league game against Kirbyville (Kirbyville, TX)
